FREE PRINTABLE EMOJI VALENTINES

It’s February and February means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! We just love Valentine’s day around here!

As soon as my kids were school aged, we started hand making fun Valentines for them. This year is no exception. While there’s nothing wrong with store bought Valentines, my kids are kind of known for their awesome hand made Valentines now! They definitely stand out and my kids have fun putting them together. It’s become our tradition and they look forward to it every year.

This year my eight year old son wanted to do emoji Valentines. I was on board with this from the start. It’s such a fun and trendy theme and I was excited to design it for him. He normally goes with dinosaur themed everything so it was kind of nice to switch it up. Plus I was starting to run out of dinosaur Valentine ideas. I mean there’s only so much you can do with dinosaurs, we’ve covered it all!

I ran with the emoji idea before he could change his mind and I love how these turned out! We went through the list of emoji’s on my phone and the heart eyes emoji stood out for obvious reasons… hearts = Valentine’s Day. We love the heart eyes emoji and it worked out perfectly for our hand made Valentines!

I mean just look how cute these are! They are perfect for Valentine’s Day and might I add, they are easy and cheap to make! It’s a win win all around.

In case your kiddos like emoji’s too (or hey, forget the kids and use them yourself!), we are sharing this free printable with you today! We are sharing these as shown with a name line to write on as well as the editable file so that you can change the wording.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THESE VALENTINES:

-Our Free Emoji Valentine Printable found below!

-White card stock and a printer (or just email the file to your local print shop or store like Office Depot, FedEx, etc. to print them out.)

-Scissors

-Heart Shaped Candy (We used these Crunch candies .) The Crunch hearts came in red, pink, and silver wrappers but we picked out all the red wrappers. You can use any heart shaped candy… there’s no shortage of heart candy this time of he year.

-Glue, double sided tape, or this Elmer’s Tape Runner which we used.

-Adobe Reader (a free download at Adobe.com) to edit the editable file

DIRECTIONS:

• Download our free Emoji Valentine. You can use the blank file and just have your kiddo write their names on the lines or use our editable file to edit the text directly on the Valentine in Adobe Reader

• Print out our free Emoji Valentine on white card stock. They come 6 per page and you can print out as many as you need

• Cut the cards out

• Tape your candy heart eyes onto the printable

EDITING TIPS:

-To edit the Valentines: Using a computer, click the link below. Download and save the file to your computer. Open Adobe Reader (this is a free download at adobe.com but most computers already have it) and open the saved file. Any editable text will be highlighted by a blue box, enter your text and save the edited file before printing. This file is turned sideways so you can edit it, make sure to turn it when printing. The blue boxes will not show up in print.

Editing the file in your web browser will not work correctly, you do need to use Adobe Reader. Only files labeled with “editable” will allow you to edit them. Please message us with any questions

Along with the editable file, we have included the non-editable Blank file that comes with an empty name line so you can print and then write the names in. The files are labeled. If you have any questions or issues editing the file, just let us know. We are happy to help!
