Every year we make Christmas treats for our friends and neighbors and this year is no different! With such a crazy year, we find it more important than ever to share some Christmas cheer with the ones we love. This has become a tradition for us and my kids look forward to it every Christmas season. We pick a night and bake and make treats. Afterwards, we pack it all up in cute baggies and add some ribbon and a cute tag!

My kids get a kick out of running around the neighborhood and passing out goodies to our friends. We’ve been so lucky to have an amazing neighborhood where our neighbors aren’t just neighbors, they are our friends and like family to us.

With that said we want to spread the cheer to all of you as well! We are sharing these cute editable tags so you can pass on the love to your friends, family, and neighbors too.

Now if you’re wondering what these little golden nuggets of caramel goodness are, let me tell you!! This is our famous caramel puff corn. If you have not tried caramel puff corn, you are missing out big time. We have to make this every Christmas. Seriously, we have to because everyone requests it. It is like caramel corn, but not! It is made with buttery puff corn. Puff corn is a hull-less popcorn. So it’s soft in the middle. You can buy a bag of Butter Puff Corn from any grocery store and then you coat it in homemade caramel. The outside is chewy and the inside is soft and crisp. It’s a buttery, caramel, sweet and salty treat. My friends have named it Christmas crack.

You can absolutely use our treat tags to make whatever Christmas treat you like. We also make cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, puppy chow, etc. These tags will work great for whatever your tradition is. But… if you need to start a new tradition, the Caramel Puff Corn is the way to go!!

I designed these with a chalk board background. They have a fun decorative frame and feature really beautiful Christmas greenery. These are neutral enough to work with any Christmas gift or treat.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THESE CHRISTMAS GIFT TAGS:

-Our free editable file (see below)

-White card stock and a printer (or just email the file to your local print shop or store like Office Depot, FedEx, etc. to print them out.)

-Scissors or a straight edge cutter

-Baggies or gift bags

-Ribbon or twine

-A hole punch

DIRECTIONS:

• Download our freebie below. You can use the blank file that doesn’t include names or use our editable file to edit the text directly on the printable in Adobe Reader before printing.

• Print out the tags on white card stock and cut them out (they come multiple per page).

• Punch a hole in the corner of your tags, string with ribbon, and attach them to your tags.

EDITING TIPS:

-To edit the printable: Using a computer, click the link below. Download and save the file to your computer. Open Adobe Reader (this is a free download at adobe.com but most computers already have it) and open the saved file. Any editable text will be highlighted by a blue box, enter your text and save the edited file before printing. The blue boxes will not show up in print.

Editing the file directly in your web browser will not work correctly. You do need to save the file and open/edit it in Adobe Reader. Only files labeled with “editable” will allow you to edit them.

Along with the editable file, we have included the non-editable blank file that comes with an empty name line so you can just print and use without names. The files are labeled. If you have any questions or issues editing the file, just let us know. We are happy to help!
